generalSharon Davies, a representative from our Foundation, recently met with Hannah Goddard, Centre Manager from Dingley's Promise, one of the beneficiaries from our Winter 2024 funding round.
Dingley’s Promise is committed to giving every child with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) the best possible start in life. With over 40 years of experience, the charity provides specialist nursery education, outreach support, and advocates for national policy change. Founded by parents who saw the urgent need for better support, Dingley’s Promise is now the largest specialist provider of early years education for children under five with SEND in the UK.
Our funding will support the Indoor Rejuvenation Initiative at Dingley’s Reading Centre. This project will replace outdated plastic play equipment with sustainable wooden alternatives, creating a safer, more inclusive, and engaging learning environment. The new equipment will enhance children’s sensory and physical experiences, supporting vital areas of development such as motor skills, communication, emotional well-being, and cognitive growth.
