We met with Rowans Hospice!

Gabriel Cusato, a member of our Foundation Committee, recently met with Rebecca Barr, Grants and Philanthropy Manager, Karen Brickle, Hospice Ward Manager, and the wider team at Rowans Hospice.

Rowans Hospice provides compassionate, specialist care for adults with life-limiting and progressive illnesses across South East Hampshire, supporting patients and their loved ones from diagnosis through to end of life.

Our funding will provide an OSKA Series 5 lateral tilt pressure-care mattress for the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit. This specialist equipment offers exceptional comfort and significant clinical benefits for bedbound patients, helping to reduce pressure build-up, support the healing of severe ulcers, and minimise the need for frequent repositioning.

By funding this vital resource, we will help Rowans Hospice continue to deliver high-quality palliative and end-of-life care with dignity and compassion to around 25 patients each year.
