generalGabriel Cusato, a representative of our Foundation, recently met with the team at YMCA Fairthorne Group, one of the beneficiaries of our Summer 2025 funding round.
YMCA Fairthorne Group works with communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to ensure that all children, families, and young people can belong, contribute, and thrive. Supporting more than 40,000 people each year, the charity delivers outdoor activities, supported housing, early years settings, food banks, and community programmes.
Our funding will provide an off-road wheelchair and hoist for outdoor activities at the Fairthorne Manor site, enabling children with physical disabilities to take part fully alongside their peers. This equipment will open up opportunities for adventure, friendship, and confidence-building, benefiting around 500 children and young people aged 8–18 over its lifespan.
